The influence of record labels in bringing out new talents is one of the essential functions and objectives of the label and this procedure is necessary in a music industry that will grow and develop as it is through this that mega music acts like Wizkid (Formerly EME ), Mayorkun ( DMW ), Adekunle Gold ( formerly YBNL ) and others have become household names in the Nigerian Music industry today.

Lyta has been hailed as a combination of 9ice , Mayorkun , Wizkid and Kiss Daniel and the young boy is sure to make waves in the Nigerian music industry under YBNL.

His signing is reminiscent of the way Davido picked up and signed Mayorkun to DMW after Mayorkun posted a video on twitter where he covered Davido's “ The Money ” featuring Olamide .
